The Lions '11 draft class is off to a tough start. First, Fairley breaks his foot and needs surgery (although they say he may be back by the start of the regular season - I'll believe that when I see it), and now this.

As somebody twittered earlier today - the winner of the 2011 NFL lockout is torn achilles tendons.

Well hello there Javid Best! Yes, yes I will select you about the 5th round in fantasy football as my #2 RB.

That really sucks for Detroit, I was looking forward to seeing them improve. They seem to be on the right track.

But, but, has their owner been back-patted and congratulated by the other owners. If not, how can they possibly "be on the right track"? :kitten:

Damn, what a rash of season, possible career ending injuries. I can see a rash of hammies and other soft tissue injuries but torn achilles? Can this really be contributed to the lockout or is it just a freak occurence?
