Roth and TBC are both pass-rushing 34 OLB's so I don't know if they are looking for those types or ILB's. Dhani Jones is a little on the old/washed-up side. Not sure about Leber, McIntosh or Cooper although I thought McIntosh was released from KC because he didn't fit into the 34?

None of those names trigger much emotion. I would like to see them get someone to backup Ryans besides Kevin Bentley or Darryl Sharpton. I think that guy they picked up UDFA, Braman will have a pretty decent shot to stick.

BUT, I believe in Ryans and although I'm quite certain he isn't 100% and the Texans are more than willing to lie on his behalf I think we should see quite an improvement having the brains back on top of the body. It's an anatomy analogy. I don't think he needs to cover sideline to sideline anymore, which is good because I doubt he could at this point.

If everything works out, he'll just need to call the plays, call out any adjustments and clean up whatever runs come through the OL, let the athletes around him make plays.

Channing Crowder still appears to be available, after being cut by the Dolphins.

As much as I love Channing Crowder he's got way too much of a mouth on him for the Texans to give him a sniff.

Sounds like a potential Shoe-in for TT forum

Is Kirk Morrison still available? A nice blend of cost and the ability to be a back-up ILB.

Isn't Morrison like a coverage type linebacker?

I always thought of him as more of a Jay Foreman type ILB. Lots and lots of tackles and not much else.

Stephen Cooper and Kirk Morrison are the ones I'd want most. Cooper's old but he had a good year last year.

Rocky is a 4-3 OLB and played out of position with the Redskins in the 3-4 last year and didn't have a great year.
