I believe Dawan Landry is the FA from the Ravens, plays the other side of the field of Ed Reed

Well Walterfootball has D.Landry as the #2 safety and Danieal Manning as the #3 safety both got 4 star grades

I would take either one and be a very happy camper.

Manning cancels out Manning.

Landry brings ober some of that Ravens D attitude?

We win the division.

Whichever one you can get for cheaper. They are both quality players. I think Manning can also be a really good kick and punt returner, so that is another advantage to get him.

Manning.

Would be happy with either but manning is very fast and would greatly increase the speed of our db's.

Methinks the Texans made their splash for this year.... I just hope it won't turn out to be another P-Burnt type situation...

To be honest, even if it is, I'm glad they did it. The team needed to make changes on the D and did it. You can't fault a team for trying to get better and it not working out. On the other hand, you can if they know there is a problem and do nothing...See last year!

I favor Landry, for the reason is that I see him as a real SS, Manning has the speed though. Would take either.

Manning.

I'm honestly not very familiar with either player but I want a Safety who's better at coverage that playing the run. If the above info. on Manning is true then I'll take him. We need speed and coverage ability in the secondary, someone has to start covering those TE's and RB's that kill us all the time.

if i had to rank the safeties which best suit the texans ill say:

1.Manning
2. Landry
3. Goldson
4. Huff
5. Sensabaugh

I think he can return kick offs too.

And he tackles well but is more of a coverage ss.

Perfect fit for us.

I like that he excels in pass coverage. Vance Joseph talked about his safeties being twins, and I think he fits the bill better than the remaining FA safeties.
