A poem on the lockout (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-1tPoZLDE_w) by Arizona Cardinal WR (and potential free agent) Steve Breaston:

Believe me, I understand how ironic it is I told a kid to "Play 60" but we might not play a minute. Here's a player that seems to get it.

Nice. Pair him up with Foster and see what they create...

That was surprisingly awesome. I went into that expecting to hate it...I came away totally impressed. Nice job Breaston

Very much the mirror of Foster. Former Michigan receiver Steve Breaston finds beauty in words, giving back to community (http://www.annarbor.com/sports/former-u-m-receiver-steve-breaston-finds-beauty-in-words-giving-back-to-community/)

Thanks, Lucky, for showing that there are still some players out there that love the game at least as much as they love their money.

Very nice thread - thanks for posting.

The title, I'm guessing, is inspired by Langston Hughes's "A Dream Deferred"

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

I can see the underlying inspiration in Breaston's version.
