Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen says he’s having a difficult time finding a place to work out during the NFL’s work stoppage.
On Thursday, Olsen told the hosts of ESPN 1000’s “The Waddle & Silvy Show” that he was asked to vacate Stevenson High School’s football field in Lincolnshire, Ill.

"The other day I got kicked off a high school field trying to go out and do some field work, so it's not easy. You have to find your spots and find someone that will let you use their field," Olsen said on the radio.

I don't understand what the problem is. I highly doubt he is using the field when gym class is in seission or being used by the football team and, he probably lives in that area and pays school tax so he has every right to use that public property.

just an fyi - paying taxes doesn't give you the right to go onto school property whenever/wherever you want

I understand that but, if no one is using the property and he just wants to workout what's the big deal?

Stevenson public information coordinator Jim Conrey told ESPN that it's school policy not to allow the general public on the facilities during school hours.

Just sayin' man. If school is in session they are using it. SOP everywhere, ever, as far as I have ever known.

Why not train at The U? Figure his former teammates could give him more of a challenge than a HS field and wind sprints could. My 2 cents...
