Sampling some of Texas' finest, St. Arnold's. He just moved up my list of my favorite O-linemen of all time.

I prefer Shiner to St. Arnold, but good for him!

could there be another BL?

I would try to convince him to pay Southern Star a visit in Conroe.

I drive past there everyday going to and from work, and have yet to see the sign.

click on website. pretty sure they have a map. The sign is small, off the road & up the hill (entrance driveway) about 1/3 mile from intersection. Just picked up a couple 4 packs of "Buried Hatchet" what I consider a great beer, strong, complex yet balanced.

Name: Buried Hatchet

Started Production: November 2008

Style: Strong American Stout

Packaging: Year Round (12 oz 4-packs)

Description: Jet-black in color, this monster smells of coffee and chocolate. The taste is much of the same, with hints of creamy toffee and roasted malt. Smooth and delicious, this medium bodied ale is all about the malts, but has enough hop bitterness to be balanced.

Ingredients: Malt: Rahr Special Pale
Crisp Brown Malt
Briess Roast Malt
Rahr White Wheat
Rolled Oats
Hops: Saphir
Yeast: California Ale
ABV: 8.25%
IBU: 50

Ummm, the directions say just past Airport Parkway, the map shows it before Airport Parkway?

edit: Just pulled it up on satellite map. Think I know where it is now. Small building with another 1 or 2 in the same area with it?

Cold doesn't sound so appropriate with temps in the low 20's maybe a winter warmer is in order, have you ever tried one? Buried Hatchet would fall into this category, free is even better they offer it on Saturdays starting 1:00 pm for that no cost thingy :handshake:

Perhaps not but I jist grabbed a domestic outta the freezer :D

What is this 'Buried Hatchet' you speak of? I'm in the Beaumont area, how far away? I need to get with my step-son about this. He's a connosseur, much like yourself. There are a bevy of surprises every time he opens his beer locker and I've not been disappointed yet.

Gotta finish my domestic before it gets warm. :D

I CAN do that. I've been known to ride your neck of the woods on occasion. :D
