Imagine the nightmare scenario if Schaub gets injured and forces McNair's hand at giving Kubiak one more year. It makes sense rather than paying him to go away with his last year still to complete

Or imagine if aliens invade the planet we have to play against them like in Space Jam. Or imagine if Okoye got jacked up on 'roids and was leading us to the superbowl until he got caught and got suspended, but then he came back at half time and won the Superbowl for us!

Kubiak will get one more year anyway you look at it.

We will change to a 3-4 - will probably take till year 2 before everyone get it completely.

What if for just one day somebody didn't start a useless thread out of frustration over not getting to make the hiring and firing decisions for the Texans?

Considering the lockout may be a long one, he's going to have to trip over his garden hose in order to get injured.

Here's an interesting question: If the lockout consumes the entire 2011 season, would Kubiak be brought back for the last year on his contract (2012) or would McNair, realizing he has to work hard in order to re-sell football to angry fans, make a play for Cowher (since Cowher seems content to sit out one more season)?

I'm hoping Cowher sits out one more season and is not hired by the 49ers, Dolphins, or Browns. Hoping here because I'm pretty sure the Texans will be 5-7, after 12 games, for the fifth straight year next year and McNair will realize he done messed up yet again.

Draft this dude in the 6th-7th round. I may be a homer but I'm sure tyrod can become better than Dan Orlovsky..

What if Schaub throws for 5200 yards and 50 TD's, would Kubiak be brought back in 2012?

Mcnair would probably be dumb enough to let Kubiak convince him that he can work Orvlosky in there and make him a big time winner with more time, and yes he would get another season or even two for that matter. This is Mcnair we're talking about.

What if for just one day somebody didn't start a useless thread out of frustration over not getting to make the hiring and firing decisions for the Texans?

And you probably think we were talking pie in the sky for wanting Bill Cowher.! Hiring Cowher was almost a statistical certainty compared to the chances that a day will pass without a useless thread started out of frustration over not getting to make the hiring and firing decisions for the Texans!

Well judging from your post history, the Texans would obviously win the Super Bowl if Schaub got hurt because you think he is horrible and Leinart should start.

You deserve a special facepalm.
