I don't think I need to name them.

The Houston Texans have been known for having one of the most explosive offenses in the league in recent years with some of the best players at their positions calling Houston home. Even though the team featured the run more this year than any other, they have still been one of the best offenses in the league. According to the fans they still have some of the best players too.

Pro Bowl fan voting numbers have been released by the NFL and three of the Texans offensive players lead the balloting in the AFC for their positions, running back Arian Foster, wide receiver Andre Johnson, and fullback Vonta Leach.

Foster has been somewhat of a surprise this season. He got his chance to shine at the end of last season and did just that running for 216 yards and three touchdowns against Miami and New England. After locking up the starterís role in training camp he exploded onto the scene with 231 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in week one.

The former scout team player has taken full advantage of the opportunity given him and the Texans desire for a running game. Through week 15 he has run for 1345 yards, good enough to lead the NFL in rushing.

Much of that would not have been possible without 6í, 263 pound Vonta Leach leading the way at fullback. Leach, who has often been described as a guard in a fullbackís jersey, does not get many carries, but has been a big part of the Texanís success at running the ball this year.

The Texans would not be the Texans without their passing game. Their passing game would not be anywhere without Andre Johnson. For the last two seasons Johnson has led the NFL in receiving and has been voted to the Pro Bowl on both occasions. This year he has had to battle injuries throughout the season, but has still managed to account for 1,216 yards (good enough for fourth in the NFL) and eight touchdowns on 86 catches.

Of the three players Foster had the most votes with 710,166, good enough to be in the top 10 among vote getters in the NFL. Johnson had 606,818 votes and Leach 273,723. Fan voted account for one third of Pro Bowl balloting; the players and coaches make up the rest.

All 3 of them deserve to play in the pro bowl!

I also enjoyed watching Schaub last year, although he's not as likely to be selected for the PB this year

Well sure! Remember, Texans tend to strive when the games don't count for much.

Congrats to all three guys. And I think we Texans fans deserve an atta boy ourselves for getting out the vote, especially for Foster and Leach, neither of whom are anything like perennial Pro Bowler and Texan great Andre Johnson who's support extends far beyond the Texans fanbase.
BTW, we still have to see how Foster & Leach do with the Coachs/Players vote which is 2/3rds of the total. Once again I'd expect AJ to not have any problems with those groups.

I hope Vonta gets in - he is SO unsung/underrated outside of Houston.

Too bad we have no defensive players worthy of even a single vote.:kubepalm:

But, I thought Leach is just a scrub.

If you're referring to the thread that I think you are...nobody ever said that.

Mario Williams has played pretty well through some tough injuries and with no back end help, I'd still through him a vote.
