Playing devil's advocate, a great gameplan can't overcome shit-poor players either.

True, but anyone who has actually followed this team this season can say with certainty that it's not talent that we're lacking.

Playing devil's advocate, a great gameplan can't overcome shit-poor players either.

I'd like to see a great gameplan from this staff first, before I can make it (poor players)
the diagnosis for the nonsense we're being subjected to. In EITHER case, Kubiak is
directly responsible for BOTH.

For the very 1st time since 2005's 2-14 season I am turning this shit off. I have watched every game ever for this team start to finish except in the 2005 year when the games were not even on in Austin since they were so bad.

Today...it doesn't matter, McNair is keeping Kubiak and the team is a steaming pile of shit. Apathy may not even be the word anymore.....

McNair talking about keeping Kubiak is like salt in the wounds. I'm more angry at him than Kubiak or Frank Bush at this point.

Just how the ****** did he become a billionaire because he is coming off as an ***** more and more to me.

Bob became a billionaire selling his shares of Enron stock that he got when he sold his business Cogen industies to Enron.

He happened to sell his shares just before Enron went broke. Just like his buddies Lay,Skilling,Fastow etc...

Not saying he's crooked. But his business buddies have been convicted. Just saying. Nah no way good ole Uncle BoB would do any shady business dealings. LOL

While its tough to watch, you guys in Htown don't know how lucky you are to be able to easily see the game. Those of us outside of Htown have to go to greater lengths to watch it.

You can be motivated all you want to, if you have a shit-poor gameplan,
all the motivation in the world won't overcome superior preparation
from your opponent.

In other words, this coach is failing his players with the lack of proper
preparation.

Playing devil's advocate, a great gameplan can't overcome shit-poor players either.

And who brought those players in? Who keeps the in the lineup or on the practice squad? The players themselves?

I'm not so sure McNair will keep Kubiak around if they keep this up. Yeah he had ringing endorsements but what is he going to say "Kubiak sucks and is out of here when the offseason begins."

Just give it time.

Exactly what was mcnair supposed to come out & say? although i disagree, there were no "ringing endorsements" for this regime. All he said was that we are on the right track, which i assume everyone agrees with him considering that everyone believes we'd be a playoff team with a better coach. In fact McNair concedes in the same article that there will probably be some changes which could mean anything yet people are jumping off a cliff b/c he didn't come out & say that he was firing Kubiak & or he sucks & he's getting rid of him @ the end of the season. Just goes to show, people hear & read what they want to.

People put too much into what they read. Jerry was talking up Wade before firing him, there are a million examples. Even before the year we got rid of Carr, remember all the things coaches and ownership said about him being the guy...then the next thing you know he's outta here.

Peyton has horrible games and crappy throws too, it happens. Unless you have a better QB sitting out there to be picked up not much you can do.

There's a distinct difference in how Rivers, Brees, Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger, etc. make their mistakes.

Once we find a good qb, then we will be able to better understand how making those mistakes at critical times in the game are what has cost us victories this year. It's easy to think that all int's and all mistakes are the same.

Schaub, like a lot of mediocre qb's, just does not overcome and persevere and do the things when they are needed to produce wins.

Titans wake up against TexansPosted by Mike Florio on December 19, 2010, 1:56 PM EST

That six-game losing streak could be coming to an end today.

The Titans have rolled up 21 points in their home game against the Texans. Houston has yet to score.

Kerry Collins has completed eight of 14 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Five different players have receptions, none of whom is named “Randy” or “Moss.”
