We need to start recognizing some of these players for their play.

This weeks award goes to Kevin Bentley. Not just for the 3rd and 19 play. this guy sucked all night long.

Also have to give Mario Williams his due. If Bentley was'nt playing this week he would have made a very strong case for my first weekly "worst defensive player of the week award".

It's got to be Kevin "Hands of Vasoline" Bentley.

I think they all sucked. Mario, Pollard, Cushing all sucked and those are the only "play makers" we have. This defense sucks overall and I want nothing more than for Frank Bush to not run the defense.

Pollard did exactly what you expect from him. In fact he made several plays including saving, potentially, a TD on that reverse. He made a ton of plays around the line of scrimmage and if we could only find someone to make a head fake at masking his below average coverage play we would be just fine.

Cushing didn't "suck" but he certainly is not what he was last year.

Frank Bush will win this award every week. How can we pin this on one player? If the D-line gets pressure someone is already open. If the D-line doesn't get pressure, someone ends up open down the field. NOBODY covered McCoy on the dump pass all game! Frank Bush wins in outstanding fashion.

He may be the worst CB in the NFL.

Also on Bentley...this dude has the captain C on his jersey :kubepalm:

Yeah. Was Reeves really worse than McCain? I just have a hard time believing that.

eugene wilson and troy nolan. atleast pollard and bentley and the rest were close enough to plays to get on camera.

I can only guess they suited him up to try and match up with the Eagles speed at WR. The fact that he is clueless out there is only one of many considerations I guess.

Diles as the dark horse candidate? He was giving us a great "KJ vs gravity" impression.

I don't think Diles played much. Sharpton has been taking a lot of snaps in his place.

My nominee: The entire goddamn secondary.

ya'll really want to try to seperate the suck? I can't do it. It was too overwhelming from all particpants. That was the embodiment of sucky defense.

Oh ok, here's my selection: The LBers. I mean they didn't even play the LBers in this game. Why would you only line up 8 players on D?

What?

They did play?!?

Anyway not wearing a number in the 90's.

At least Vick was getting pressured, after that it was all downhill.

I blame Quinn for not getting 3 picks. I've come to expect that; it's the only way the D will actually work.
