what was wrong with JJ ? I realize he was no better but Slaton is no threat to make it to the 20 yard line. At least JJ can do that.

Who else on the team can field these? Someone else needs to step up, didn't McMannis return punts or kickoffs in college? Our special teams blows big time.

JJ was doing about the same as Slaton, neither one of them are worth of damn at returning kicks.

They're both awful. This is why we're having offensive consistency issues. Our field position SUCKS. You have to do your offense some favors. They cant drive 80 yards EVERY time.

Brice McCain? He may not be a good corner, but isn't he really fast?

If only we would let Holliday return kicks. This team is gutless.

David Anderson??

Yes, I did see him pull this duty earlier this year or in preseason. At least we'll see some effort and know he will hold on to the ball. Put him in there and lets see what he can do... better than the alternative, I'm sure.

I don't understand it, is there not some guy off the street that can do better?

Same reason Kris Brown finished the season last year. Corporate policy says that rushing a decision is NOT the Texans culture. They will evaluate Slaton as a returner in the off season.

Let Rackers return the kicks. That guy at least wants to run someone over.

This is one thing Iv had enough of... Im sick and tired of seeing him back there. I KNOW that everytime you recieves a kickoff, we WONT get past the 25 yard mark. Im thankful happens to catch the ball with no problems but seriously... get him the F#&% from back there. Thats NOT his strength. He hesitates WAY TOO MUCH. Does anyone else feel the same?

YES!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine the 6th string DB's eyes when the Pepsi Machine is running toward him.

Maybe we can sand lot football it. Are we allowed to just take it at the fence?
