These very Texans can play with the best the NFL has to offer, .....but they just can't close the deal, ....we must give them even more time, IT IS WHAT IT IS.

The franchise and team obviously is gonna need more time. But the coaching staff has had 5 years and has badly contributed to turning Sundays into a football version of the friggin Crying Game.

The coaching staff needs to be Gonzo............like now...ahora!!!!

Somehow it already feels like the offseason because of the hopelessness of our current situation. This sucks. :choke:

Exactly....this is what sux the most. The season is in a pine box 6 feet under already with plenty of football left to play. effing ridiculous.

I'll still watch the rest ot the games and root for wins of course, but short of a 3 to 4 game win streak, I don't see myself getting excited or too bummed during a game.

Keyword = apathy.

Could be the coaching, but some plays must be made by the players even if the scheme is not right, jackson will be a good player one day, but he was overrated because of the Bama/Saben voodoo, Cushing seems to be a shell of the player he was a year ago, Texans played better without him early in the season, Foster,Johnson,Williams could all be pro -bowlers this year,... this team don't need much, but a little shake up might help.

The final plays of the last three games, were only a small piece of why
they lost those games. There are over 70 snaps per game. They
lost the game over many of those. Good teams find a way to make
the winning snaps.

Every time the Texans lose I feel like someone kicked me in the nuts, do you know when this will be over??

Bill Simmons (1:27 PM)

You better buy a much bigger protective cup - they refuse to fire Gary Kubiak (who should have been fired even before the Jets game ended) and as long as you have that rudderless Kubiak/Schaub combo it's hopeless. I wouldn't trust those guys to close out a dinner tab.

OH yeah, thanks for reminding me, Sheppard will make a move somewhere on this line, if Cody and Okoye would play like vets, Mitchell/Sheppard would look a lot better.

That's why I refuse to chime in on the 'The season's over', if I do that, then why bother watching at all...?

I watch games looking for a glimse of hope, a positive SOMETHING to make me care enough about the team to watch the games. Foster is such a glimse, there are others too.

Nah. I'm watching a couple of guys play as hard as they can (Foster, Johnson)
and watch the head coach visually lead his team to be a bunch of
nervous nillies. As he bends over to avoid watching another field goal,
his team embraces his energy.

Watching Rex Ryan on Hard Knocks this offseason was the worst thing
to happen for Kubiak. Any Texan fan who saw that, then looks at how
Kubiak runs the Texans, can no longer be deceived by the Texans
Marketing Team.

Maybe I'm still a little slow after my procedure yesterday, but I'm still trying to figure out what the hell this thread's supposed to mean.
