With the loss of one of our favorite rival fans, Blazing Arrow, we have decided to dedicate the "Rivalry Talk" forum to him.

Hopefully this will keep his memory alive here and we can keep the level of class that BA had while engaging in lighthearted "smack talk".

I found his Photobucket account while looking for a picture to remember him by.

Here is a graphic that he had that he surely would have been using again this season though a .500 season is not looking that likely right now :) ...

I love the name! I just noticed it, but it is extremely appropriate and a nice way to honor our fallen friend and fellow rabble rouser.

And his smack would've been interesting right now with both of our teams melting down in grand fashion.

RIP BA

He was actually 33 when he passed and he does have a daughter. He is one of those guys that looks 10 years younger than they are. I have 2 friends like that, one is 43 and looks 25, the other is 38 and looks 19.

Between the loss of BA and how bad the Texans suck, I can't really, (nor do I wanna) talk any smack. The only thing that's giving me a little happiness, is Vince Young's act.

Merged my thread Blazing Arrow's "Rivalry Talk" with this one.

I agree about the smack, Texan Bill. I just don't have it in me right now, all things considered.

Although my outlet seems to be ridiculing our own franchise at this point, and while obviously in sarcastic jest, I'm finding it to be quite the therapeutic catharsis. :winky:

My friend I hope God has shown you the light up there and I hope that with enlightenment you realize the Titans suuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

this smacks for you.

I didn't know him, but this sounds like a fitting virtual memorial for him. Poor guy, heart problems at 33 is tough. I have been busy as hell at work because everyone's on vacation and the other guy who's supposed to be here is in the hospital with some clogged artery issue. I think he's 40, but still, too young to be dealing with heart issues.

RIP Blazing Arrow.

Cool thing to do Kevin! I'm like some of the rest, just not in me to smack the Titans right now. They are broken, we are pathetic, and both of our sorry asses let the Jags get the best of us and pass us by! That's one horrendous insult, if ya ask me!

RIP Blazing Arrow! Much to young to be taken out of this world.

I'm not so much in the mood to smack talk the Titans, but I did find an extra reservoir of spite and venom inside myself toward Bud Adams, which I released in one of the other recent threads in this smack forum. Something about hearing Titans fans whining about him just hit me the wrong way. :D

While we were rivals, we really appreciated his many contributions to our board (including the smack talk ;) ). Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to you and your family....

*hugs*

We are always reminded of him. Especially after Hook'em's dedication of the rivalry thread to Kian. I'm proud of him for that because Blazing Arrow definitely deserved it. He was a great poster who fiercely defended his beloved Titans.

Hold your head high because your son earned the respect of thousands who visit this board... at least mine but I know I am not alone...
