I've heard this in Houston too...

'Shanahan said after the game that his team was "outplayed and outcoached in every area." He blamed himself for not having his players better prepared.'

Whole article here: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81c2bfc1/article/a-yearly-ritual-redskins-embarrass-themselves-in-primetime?module=HP_headlines

Yeah, every coach is basically the same in this regard. Just a bunch of cliches.

What do you expect him to say ..... "my GM gave me a bunch of scrubs who cant play .... they got their asses kicked , its not my fault."?

The only time a coach will say something derogatory about a player, is when the are very frustrated. It's a sign of immaturity & a poor ability to cope & "handle" a player, if you ask me.

You won't see Parcell's call out a "Parcell's guy" he'll call "The Player" because he doesn't know how to deal with him.

"I traded for the wrong Eagle QB."

Falcons :)

@Corrosion: Not 'expecting' anything, just found it funny that they are saying the EXACT same thing.
