This is how you run a team.

Reason number 8,983 of why the Steelers are who they are. They believe in accountability. As we all know, if this guy were a Texan he would have gotten a big fat raise.

Or, at the very least, kept until the offseason and then given a chance to "win" the job in a camp competition.

Silly Steelers! What do they know about running a franchise?

Yeah :trophy:X *6 They're all wet man. Polamalu, Ward, Randel El and Roethlissbuger will never amount to anything.

* Asterisk denotes the Superbowl which Neil O'Donnel GAVE to the Dallas Cowboys which should have by all accounts have been Steeler Title #5 which would have made their last title #7.

He's 15 for 22 on FG's this year. It wasn't due to one missed kick, but your point still stands as far as how they run their team.

There's a good kicker in Jacksonville going door-to-door hurriedly collecting all newspapers at the practice facility.

Better they do it now, rather than scramble to find a kicker in week 17 before playoffs. Of course the difference is that they are expecting to make the playoffs this year.

LOL@ you acting like everyone DOES do this.

There's a team in Houston called the Texans that should have done this in the middle of last year, but did not.

What did he say to the fans? I missed that one.

I'm not sure if 15 of 22 got him canned or the fact that he is a major douche.bag had anything to do with it.

BTW:

Pittsburgh is known for keeping kickers around for a very long time, since the Cowher era started.

Regards,

Jeff Reed, Todd Peterson, Kris Brown, Norm Johnson

Not sure this is the best example. Steeler fan has wanted him cut for awhile now. Him insulting Pittsburgh does the cake.

Um, yea, apart from the fact that he would have been cut from the Texans already due to his questionable character.

Kris Brown missed field goals, he didn't act like a drunken jackass in gas station's public toilets. Reed is guilty on both counts.
