The 4-2 Indianapolis Colts have a bye this weekend. It comes at a pretty good time since running back Joseph Addai is likely to be out "several weeks" with a hurt shoulder, according to NFL.com.
Addai, who has scored three touchdowns and rushed for 406 yards this year, got hammered to the ground early in the fourth quarter this past Sunday.
But the injury is certainly, as Yahoo! Sports' Andy Behrens expected it would be, "worse than a stinger." Addai is going to get a second opinion on the shoulder injury during the bye week but Colts fans shouldn't expect him to be back in action when the team takes on division rival Houston Texans in Week 8. Donald Brown's hamstring injury is expected to be healed by then so he and Mike Hart will have to pick up Addai's slack.
