View Full Version : No More Days Off

After last week's victory over the Raiders, I heard Kubiak say he would be giving the team an extra day off as a reward for the nice win.

I submit that rewarding the team by cutting back on preparation for the next game is counterproductive.

I understand that working players too hard is also counterproductive.

But if you have a nice victory with a certain amount of work and you have a crappy performance like today's showing with one day less work, then......

Hello? McFly?

I don't understand...did they get a day off for the Colts win? The Raiders almost came back and had a good amount of time to tie that game, it was a nice win but it could have been better.

Any way i'm not going to look too much into it. It's obvious though this probably didn't help the team at all, seems like there would be better ways to reward the players though.

That means that, including today, Oaklands victory actually got Team Texans TWO days off.
