...I'm not a pessimist, but I don't run from the truth either. I think most of us operated off of the assumption that what we saw in the first game against the Colts was an indicator of what kind of team the Texans had this year but in reality, that win was simply the best game the Texans have ever played. It doesn't appear to be an indicator of any kind about what to expect from them week in and week out......

*....that for as good as Bernard Pollard is at smashing people in the mouth, his deficiencies in coverage are becoming a problem and maybe it is time to take him off the field on certain 3rd down situations.




honestly,I can't believe I was thinking of this today, maybe it was because after a play the cornerbacks would occasionally put their arms out as if to say" where was my help"?

but I did notice Wilson was in later in the game

*.... the Texans are once again on pace to have more giveaways than takeaways which would be the 6th straight year in a row if that happens and the 8th time in the team's 9 year history.
