So far this is the best the Giants have looked all season. We'll see.

I don't think I've ever seen this many sacks in a half. It's certainly been an entertaining game. If the Giants can get a couple more in the first half they'll be in striking range of single game sack record.

They had a similar game vs the Eagles last season or the season before on SNF. Actually they just mentioned that game. Osi had like 5 or 6 sacks.

I remember Osi getting 7 sacks two or three years ago. Arian better come to play next week.

Yeah, maybe it was 7. I think it was 2 years ago vs the Eagles on SNF.

I checked. I was incorrect. He had 6 sacks that day which is still an NFL record. Maybeit gets broken tonight. 9 sacks so far for that vaunted pass rush!!

How much of this is the bears horrid blocking and not the Giants rush? Before tonight the Giants only had 6 sacks on the year. Admittedly I haven't watched the Giants play before tonight so maybe I'm talking out of my ass.

Whats the over under for Cutler dying during halftime?

Not sure but the Giants haven't looked good on D all season. I did miss the Titans game since I was at the Texans game last week.

I am a Giants fan so I watch most of their games when they don't conflict with Texans.

That was a BS roughing the passer call. Gimme a break.

What a beautiful throw by Collins, nice easy to catch spiral.

Just to the wrong colored jersey

The Giants D should be a good test for our offense, you know they are going to go after Matt like crazy.

This game is VERY sloppy!

I freaking love Micheal Boley. I remember watching him stay stride for stride with Moss when the Giants won the super bowl. In my opinion he's one of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL (in the limited games I've watched him play) dude is either really fast for a linebacker or has excellent instincts when it comes to pass defense

Better hope the Giants pull this game out because I don't see them going to 1-4. They will come out just like the Cowboys did last week.

The Giants really needed that game. If they turn around and lose next week it will kill any confidence and momentum they picked up from this game. It really sucks for me that I have to root against them next week however I have no choice.

From the highlights of the sacks, it appeared that Cutler was holding the ball way too long. Some of those sacks he must of held it for 7 seconds before getting sacked. And did Chicago ever try to run the ball?

Brandon420tx

the few times after sack 6 they got ok yards (except when they started that one drive on their 1 yard line) But I'm pretty sure the GMen were in full pass rush mode then

I hope Kubiak paid attention tonight. Run the ball all day or Schaub's getting tenderized.

Why? Butler has been perfectly acceptable. I don't think he's been any worse than Brown was to be honest.

It's going to be about the running game next week. If we can run the ball we aren't going to see this kind of pass rush. I'm beginning to think that Matt Forte is just another one year wonder from Chicago like Anthony Thomas was... or James Allen for that matter.

I hope Schaub sleeps with the video as well. Several of those sacks were on Cutler.

Matt's liable to get killed if he tries too many bootlegs against the Giants.

Schaub has been doing this all season. I bet we will be seeing a lot of short passes and rushing next week.

Yes, but he was much better at it yesterday. Hopefully when he watches the tapes of the game last night, he will do even better at it, or he will get knocked out also.

I think the nature has been different. Yes Schaub will wait for a receiver to come open but he isn't pig headed like Cutler was being on which receiver comes open. There was a play Dungy broke down at half time and Cutler has a receiver wide open on a drag route directly in his vision but holds the ball because he wants to go deep. Matt would have hit the open guy seeing the deep guy covered.
