I wasn't going to start a new thread at first, but IMO, Bentley has been a very strong special teamer. Hell, I never even knew he was hurt

Texans LB Kevin Bentley is out indefinitely after undergoing knee surgery on Wednesday morning.

The team provided no timetable for return. Bentley, 30, has played enough on defense to contribute just three tackles, but is a core special teamer.

This is a huge blow for sure, hopefully someone else can pick up the slack.

Ouch. Bentley has been nothing but a player for us, doing whatever is needed.

Looks like we could use a special teams linebacker. Slaton for Hawk anybody? lol :stirpot:

I risk going on a man crush here, but pull Greenhouse off of the PS.

Now we know why Paymah was signed right?

No, we know who stepped aside to make room for him but this has nothing to do with why he was signed.

I have it on good authority that Paymah was signed to counter the expected QB move of the Jaguars in signing Trent Edwards. We're "bracing" for the impact Trent will have on the AFC South :thisbig:

Man, you dug deep on that one! Well played.

I was hoping that Paymah was going to relieve a CB off of ST but now he just looks like depth on ST until Bentley gets back.....

pppfffftttttthhhhhh

I found it strange he started the last game but was only in for 2 or 3 series and was then replaced by Adibi. Maybe he hurt it then? Was he on ST later in the game?
