Its funny you say that! My daughter couldn't understand how impressive that is and I made her stand up and she is exactly 64 inches and then I tell her that he just leaped over you and she had to watch the video 10 more times!

who cares, stop taking PED's and get back in the game.. I could care less how much weight he lifts, how high he can jump.. just play football and get the job done..

He did get the job done last year and because of the work ethic he shows in these videos lets me know that he will be ready for Eli and the Giants week 5 when he comes back!

Nobody said you had to watch the video.

I'm not sure there are many people who can do a 64 inch hurdle leap so its not like they make them that big. :)

Nah, it'll be fine I'll my my wife wash it out when I get hom.. I'd rather have him back on the field and stop doing promo's for his gym.. I 100% believe he was taking PED's, where there is smoke there is fire and I hope he can come back and play at the level he did last year.. If you remember he didn't look all pro in pre season..

This isn't a thread about PEDs for once. So...thanks for ruining it. Everyone believes he did PEDs b the dub. That's why he's not playing and since he isn't playing it's nice to know he's working out to the point that he can jump over people (yea i know, "don't overtrain again" hardy freaking har). I remember him in the preseason and he looked exactly the same. I also remember a Cowboy offense not running or passing on the team when he was playing and then utterly destroying the group when he was absent.

Just make sure she uses plenty of soap.

Personally, I no longer care that he possibly took PEDs and I don't really care for the self-promoting videos. I look forward to watch him beast on the field, which is all I care about right now. This defense needs help and I hope he's the player that can give us a nice charge on that side of the ball.

I understand it needs to be followed by a healthy portion of vinager as well. At least in the old days. Not so sure that's a practice followed so much today so you might be alright just letting it ride. :chef:

I'm pretty sure that we all feel exactly the same.

But I'm quite capable of keeping two different thoughts in my head at the same time. Who doesn't think jumping over a 64" girl is cool? And it beats sitting around wondering if cutting Jamar Wall was the right thing to do.

Up to this point in the season Cushing has helped the D as much as Schoebel has...oops...nevermind, neither one of them is here.

I think that is more to the point than all the arguing about how impressive he is in the gym, staying in shape. Doesn't mean krap in the w/l column.

Do it again and he will get a full year to work out in the gym.

Note to Cushing...you ain't at USC anymore, no one here to cover it up. McNair tried, but this ain't the joke they call the NCAA.

Bad habits are hard to break...or so I've heard.

I'll stand on my post made after the draft, we drafted the wrong USC linebacker. I liked the Matthews bloodline.

I'm thrilled that Cushing is doing everything he can to stay in "Game Shape" (not eating at mom & pop's restaurant in Columbus). It'll be interesting to gauge the impact he has immediately upon his return. I'm gueesing a 90% Cushing is still better than a 100% Adibi or Diles.

Could our defense possibly get any worse? Thats the funny thing about Cushing's return. He'd have to be some kind of suck to make us worse than we are right now

Funny because before we had Cushing we were somewhere around the bottom of the barrel (just like we are now) and when he showed up everything fell into place and this looked like an actual defense. I guess we'll find out how exactly he impacts this defense/team AGAIN....

How can you improve 4 inches in a week if you are not "over-training"? I mean, if that really was the reason, wouldn't training like that get him a positive again? Shouldn't he ease up a little on the training so that he doesn't over-train and get popped for a year?

He didn't actually improve by 4" in a week. If you watch the video where he jumps the 60" hurdle, he clears with ease. He barely got over the 64" hurdle.

Man, that's pretty impressive. I'd like to set up one of those things to see how high I could get up there or how many inches at least. I love those types of drills. GSP did some hurdle drills that were pretty impressive a while back before he fought Dan Hardy. Cushing doing that at that size is pretty insane though.

Screw the jump...His landing was is what impressed me the most...

Did you see how quiet his landing was? How much control he had when hitting the ground?

At 261 pounds that is some freaky agility.

Yeah, the kid is a beast. Honestly, I don't mind the vids that DeFranco's Gym is posting. I really enjoyed watching Cush play last year (when he wasn't covering Dallas Clark) that it gets me amped up for his return. I don't think he'll fix everything, but stuff has to get better once he arrives. You'll not convince me otherwise.

His legs are enough. He doesn't need anyone or anything else clearly. He'll just jump over the o-linesman and sack the qb or stop the rb in the backfield.

That makes zero sense. He tested "positive" before the season began. If he was taking something and it was legitimately "boosting" his performance, his level of play would have theoretically been at its peak early on and diminished the rest of the season.

I just hope he is not taking PEDs anymore. You know after he gets back he will be "randomly" selected for testing on a more frequent basis. In the three weeks he's been on suspension, he's already been tested twice. And since "stopping the PED's", and just maintaining, or maybe intensifying, his usual training regimen, he's gotten even bigger, stronger, quicker and more flexible.

The next time it's only an 8 game suspension. If he's suspended again, I'm hoping it ends up in Court with a lawsuit against the NFL. I'm sure he's documenting all necessary testing and data for such an eventuality.
