Shortly after his team lost to the Chicago Bears (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/chicago/bears) on Monday night, Green Bay Packers (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/green-bay/packers) defensive back Nick Collins (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/player/nick/collins/7227) reportedly had an altercation with a fan, whom Collins accused of calling him the N-word.

Details are scarce, but FOX 6 Sports in Milwaukee reported on its Twitter page (http://twitter.com/fox6sports) that Collins went "crazy" on a Bears (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/chicago/bears) fan while leaving the field. The incident was apparently recorded by FOX 6 cameras, but league rules prohibit the station from posting the video online.

In an off-camera interview afterward, Collins apologized for his actions but told FOX 6 that the fan used the N-word toward him. FOX 6 also reported that a fan spat at Collins, and that Collins threw tape at him in response before being restrained by teammate Donald Driver (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/player/donald/driver/4863).

Must be nice to get into an altercation and be able to justify it by saying he was called the N word. If that happened or not, who knows.

If the fan spit and/or used the N word, way to lose your PSL's in a place that's darned hard to get them....

Sucks even more if they guy was using someone else's ticket...

I never really thought the word 'nincompoop' was all that offensive.
