Rome just said that Super Mario is going to be on tomorrow mornings show to chat about the Cowboys game. Hasn't mentioned a time, but just a heads up in case anyone is interested.

Rome is far more likable when he's talking up the Texans.

For whatever the reason Rome has always favored the Texans :)

While watching the HT.com vid on Rashad Butler, they showed a brief
clip of Mario leading the pregame team huddle at Washington. We saw it in the first game
when he lectured the defense for giving up a touchdown in PREVENT ZONE.

This defense is gonna be scary now that Mario actually EMBRACES the
leadership role.

I've already watched it today, but I'm repping you just for bringing it up.

The great thing about this, is that no matter whatever is going on in your life, this is still funny as heck. Broken arm? No worries, lets watch Chris Everett get her panties in a twist. Divorce impending? It's ok, youtube still has the funniest minute and five seconds of sports interviewing from the 1990s up.

Am I the only one who thinks that Rome/Everett thing was staged?

Jim Rome was one of the first to admit he was wrong about the Mario over Bush draft pick and apologized to Mario to his face (Super Bowl week, I think). He's had OD and Andre on multiple times as well. With Rome's show, it is what it is...some quality interviews and some smack to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Either way, I love the Jungle Karma coming to our boys before this, the BIGGEST GAME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY!!!!

THANK YOU!

I'M OUT!

Romes interviews are normally really good...

But besides that, I will take all of the Jungle Karma we can get!

Rome is very pro-Texans everybody. He and Winston have quite the bromance brewing on Twitter and the radio show.

Posted this in the Mario is a Wuss thread, but it equally applies here. Hopefully Rome visits TexansTalk, and gets him riled up for us.

It's just starting...

Rome: You're not going to tell me its just another Sunday are you Mario?

Mario: I'm thinking about it...

HAHAHA!

Mario: What they don't realise is that what they say has a direct correlation to what happens to their quarterback.

And in responce to the 'little brother' stuff:

"We're not who you think we were. We're not the same people."

I can't wait to see Romo hit the turf!

That was actually Antonio Smith who said that. Mario was just repeating what Antonio said.

Antonio Smith also had another good quote yesterday: "Just because their backs are against the wall doesn't mean we can't push that wall further back''.

I caught it on my lunch hour and enjoyed the interview and was SO HAPPY for Mario that Rome did not bring up Reggie Bush or VY or even mention their names. BOUT DAMN TIME.

It was all about the Texans and our comeback win over Washington.

Exactly. People praise Everett for what he did to Rome. I don't. Chrissy was a *****.

Besides, rome is 5'4" or so, Everett is 6'7". you tell me who won and who has balls and who doesn't.

I think Rome is great on the radio. Man can be hilarious.
