Week 3 NFL coverage map is up. (http://the506.com/sports/?cat=14)

And FYI, Troy Aikman and Joe Buck will be calling the Texans/Cowgirls game on FOX.

Oh good, I'm sure Aikman will be fair and balanced in his commentary regarding the Texans. This should be a great game to watch.

I think I might mute and use the radio for audio...

I've never found Troy Aikman to be a homer for the Cowboys in the booth. He's one of the best in the business, IMO. I just wish they would replace Joe Buck

Suprised Jerry didn't black out the game in Dallas so the Dallas area doesn't get to see the Texan game.

I'm just glad i'll be at the game not having to listen to Buck.

Yep, Joe Buck makes up for Aikman's attempt to be impartial.

I don't mind Aikman at all. I actually kind of like his commentating. It's Buck that has the monotone doesn't give a crap type commentating. Dude should stick with baseball.

If not on TV where we are, we will be watching it via Sunday Ticket on my phone. Coverage maps be dammed.

I don't like watching football on FOX too much. The picture setup is different from what I prefer. A little too dark for me or is it just me?

Really? Detroit v Minnesota gets that much coverage?

Yeah.... something tells me the PacNW switches to either our game or the Niners.

Aikman is awful to listen to. His monotone voice gets to me after 5 minutes of droning on. Bucks isnt any better. Give me CBS coverage every day of the week...

The camera work is much better on Fox, IMO.

They have close-ups and seem to know when to switch cameras for the best viewing angle during the course of a play.

With CBS, it feels like the camera is alwasy zoomed wayyyy out so you get the whole field and can't see the little details of a play. I also think the color/brightness/contrast of CBS is really off. Fox's picture looks much better on my TV. More crisp, more vibrant colors etc.

You know what 's really aggrevating?

Our team had a thrilling victory vs. the Colts, a comeback OT win vs. Redskins that saw tons of yards get put up by both teams. And yet the NFLN and even ESPN had their Sunday night and Monday evening (and even last night on NFLN Access show) was about the Bears/Cowboys and Michael Vick.

Proof that it's not what you do ont he field, but who you ARE in the eyes of certain people.

Where's some interviews on Schaub? Where's some special segments on Kubiak, or Foster, or even Andre Johnson? Or Owen Daniels' comeback? We're not getting the coverage we deserve. I blame that on peoples' love affair with car crashes. They want to see the Cowboys getting pwned by the Bears, and they want to see the ex-convict getting his shot on the field.

It's all about sensationalism and not about teams like the Texans who are actually putting up a good season so far. Just sort of bummed about it.

I wonder if that changes after Sunday?

I really think we have gotten a LOT of press this week with lots more to come tonight at 6 on NFLn and there is a gameday exclusive coming up with Schaub at 9am on Sunday. Lots of that press isn't just piggybacking off the Cowboy love either. I'm pretty happy.

Sunday can't get here fast enough!

I'm a big fan of Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker.
Nothing gets me more pumped about a game than hearing Gus screaming "ooooohhhhh woooooow!!! AAAAANNNNNDREEEE JOHNSON with the leaping grab"!

I know Aikman is a former Cowboy, but man...he must have some contract where he is required to call all of the Cowboys games not played on CBS.

FYI, coverage of our game has grown a lot.

Coverage now stretches to the south/midwest ending up to the northwest coastline.

Maps are updated.

In due time, dude. This team will not gain respect on two or three games.
If they are still smashin' when it's time to flex-schedule, then we'll be
taken seriously. I desperately want this team to shoot for the AFC South
Championship. Winning the toughest division in football garners you much
props even BEFORE hitting the playoffs.

I'm pretty sure Gary Kubiak has specifically targeted just that. I liked his confidence at the pre season luncheon when he addressed it.
