I voted. I can't possibly see him not winning this. There just aren't enough Chris Johnson lovers to out vote what is an amazing performance by Foster.

And that's the truth per Houston Texans Twitter 15 mins ago.

I haven't seen this posted.

Also:

Texans running back Arian Foster was selected as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 34-24 victory over Indianapolis.

Foster carried 33 times for 231 yards and three touchdowns in the second start of his career. His 231 yards were the second-most on opening day, surpassed only by O.J. Simpson's 250 for Buffalo in 1973.

Foster's carries and yardage set team records. His three scores tied a team record.

Foster is averaging 149 yards rushing in his last three games, including victories over Miami and New England at the end of last season.

Foster is the fourth Texans player to win the AFC Offensive Player of the Week Award. The last wasMatt Schaub, who won it in Week 2 last season.

Well Duh....

I quoted you because you got Foster's endzone celebration. I really like it because it is a celebration but it's also a very mild one that still has that respectfulness to it.

So I looked up his form of a bow and I got to tell you, I'm liking everything about this kid because you know he studied this to figure out that's what he wants to do as a celebration.

In China, among martial artists, the Covered Fist Bow is the preferred method. This tradition begins to look a bit more like the traditional Japanese style bow that most Westerners are accustomed to seeing. Done by placing the closed right fist into the palm of the left hand and bowing from the waist while presenting the hands, this formal bow is meant to convey a desire for peace and learning. The covering of the fist represents an ideal, a pursuit of peace over war. The open left hand is a symbol of peace, compassion, and kindness, all that is yin in the yin/yang cycle. The closed fist of the right hand symbolizes strength, fighting, and fearlessness, all that is yang in the yin/yang cycle. By covering the fist with the open hand the person bowing is saying "I come in peace and respect." They are showing that while they have the strength and will to fight, they instead seek peace and wish to meet in harmony and learning.

Funny how the link says martial arts in INDIANAPOLIS.

Anyways, I was thinking if Foster starts going off don't be suprised if this starts taking off with the team and city like the Mile High Solute.

Chris Johnson will most likely win it because of his name recognition. Plus, who wants to vote a Texan in?
