WARNING: This photo is pretty rough, no blood or anything but it's dislocated pretty badly.

I wanted to see how bad it was just to get an opinion on if it's career ending or not, from the looks of this if he tore most of the tendons/ligaments, he's likely done with his career.

WARNING: Do not click this link if you don't like odd looking pictures of humans..

Not watching again. Saw it last night as I rewatched the game. I commented somewhere in another thread that his foot was going the wrong way. Ouch, indeed!!!

I think it's maybe a bit premature to think the injury might be career-ending,
even though it's obviously very serious.
Also, don't think it's too cool showing the poor guy like this, helpless and in a lot of pain and total shock in the instant he realizes what's happens. I know it's pretty tuff to sell newspapers these days, but this is classless IMO, I say have a little consideration for Connor.

My high school coach tore his ACL playing for the Oilers, and STILL doesn't have one. Surgical
technology is far more superior than it used to be. Connor should be fine,
as it's almost the same injury sustained by Ben Tate.

I agree with what you're saying, but to be fair Connor himself tweet'd (sp?) photo of his ankle while he was on the field (and a much better angle) and stated: "And that's what a dislocated ankle looks like..."

I didn't make fun of him, ridicule, harass, or anything and warned people of the image before they even clicked on it. There is nothing classless in my post, it's just a picture of him injured it happens. I'm not invading his privacy at any cost, not sure why think it's classless.

This injury is similar to the Tyrone Prothro (sp?) injury. It's a distal tib-fib fracture, but they haven't released the details on any ligamentous damage or how much of each bone was fractured. I think in all likelihood it is too early to tell anything, but I wish him the best and hope he can get back on the field next year.

Did not know that ? Hey, if Connor put it out there then it's certainly none of my business to be critical. It's his ankle.

I wasn't piling on you, I was criticizing the media that published the picture
in the first place (like the Houston Chronicle). But it may be a moot issue anyway as another poster in this thread is reporting that Connor himself is responsible for tweeting with this pic attached.
