Does anyone know our record when wearing the Lib White Unies?

Let's see if I can remember when we started wearing them.

2006 against Philly Lost
2007 against KC Won
2008 against Baltimore Lost
2009 against NYJ Lost.

So if I'm correct (I really believe I am) we are 1-3. 1-2 on opening day.

I don't care if we come out wearing grass skirts and funny little hats made of Saturdays Chronicle sports page as long as we come to play four quarters and don't lay down or look like we thought the season begins in October again.

It's time to quit farting around and play like we're capable of playing.

Well, that first year Haslett took the Saints to the Playoffs, he made them wear their away colors at home.

They played better away, than they did at home, & he gave it a shot.

Usually, the roof doesn't start to open until the later months when it starts to get chilly out. Ever since that '05 Steeler game, and the 50-80 rule was implemented, the Texans don't open the roof unless the conditions are perfect. :)

I sit in 118, and I hate it when the roof is open. The bullpen gets some shade towards middle of the second half iirc, but 118 is stuck in the sun until the last 5 or so minutes of the game. I feel bad for those who have to sit past my section. They're stuck in the sun for the entire game.

Sure fans should come out strong all the time but other teams do play color scheme games. For instance for a while it was real popular for teams to pick their jersey color to make the Cowboys wear their blue uniforms because their winning percentage was lower in them.

This is exactly what folks used to do to the Cowboys to get them out of their white uniforms in which they had a much higher winning percentage. Don't have any idea that is the Texans' reasoning.

I thought all the different "color" schemes were mandated by the NFL including how many games they were allowed/forced to wear them. Every team has to have a couple of different "alternate" uniforms. For most teams, those include throwback uniforms, but since we're still so young, we don't have any of those.

No the NFL allows teams to have alternate uniforms including a throwback. Teams have to declare two primary uniforms. They are allowed to wear the alternates twice and throwbacks once. The home team gets to pick which of their two primaries they want to wear and then the other team must wear their opposite (light v. dark).

I didn't say last 10 games or last 3 seasons - I said LAST EIGHT GAMES!!! Misrepresent?? It is what it is. OK, 3-7. Wow, that .300 winning percentage does feel a lot better. Misrepresent? Why are you just stopping at '07?

I don't care if they played 25 games and won 23 of them in Sept. '07, it doesn't change the fact that the last 8 times they played a football game in the month of September, they only won ONE of those EIGHT games.

I could have said 6 games and said they were 0-6. What the hell difference does it make? They've sucked rocks early in the season their entire existance.

It's called trends. People pick blocks of games all the time and see how a team is trending. The trend is that the Texans have sucked in the month of September. I picked out the last 8, could have picked every game they've ever played in September. Oh wait - I did (7-19) a big ol 27%!! I guess you freaking missed that when you got your panties in a wad about me only picking 8 games.

None of it means anything come Sunday. All it is is what they've already done in however many games you want to look at. 2 for their last 9, 4 for their last 11 or 1 for their last 1 (assuming they win Sunday)
