Sure the Schaub link is just his Pro Bowl highlights but we know what he did during 2009. That was just the icing on the cake.

I hated it at first. But by 2004, I grew to love it. Strange how things work.

I will admit i like the song too. But it sounds so, how can i say this correctly, so expansiony? We need to get some metal or something going on.

Good morning from Calgary, Alberta! Never really introduced myself to the board, now is as good a time as any. I've been a Texans fan since 2003 and am hoping to make the trip down for my first ever live game this year. I've lurked the board for a couple years now and figure it's time to start contributing more frequently. Texans Fever truly is spreading north, within the last year I've seen more Texans paraphernalia than all the other years combined of the Texans existence. It's nice to finally see.

Here's to a productive and, most importantly, healthy training camp!

GAWD NO!! They play enough "metal" as it is!! Why mess with something that obviously works! Just leave it alone and play the hell out of it!!! JMO!

Welcome to the board!

Were you born in Texas? Just curious how a Texan fan got way up there in Canada. :texflag:

Thanks for the welcome.

I wasn't born in Texas but have been fortunate enough to travel within the great state and have spent time in Houston which I really enjoyed. The people are great and I love the weather. I've dealt with quite a few Houstonians through work in the Oil and Gas field and have made some great acquaintances. Besides that, I fell in love with #80 the first time I saw him play in '03 as well as Domanick Davis. I thought he was destined to be a star. Defensively, I loved watching Marcus Coleman fly around picking off QBs left, right and center that season and the Sharper/Foreman duo at MLB had me thinking we were going to be in the playoffs sooner rather than later.

Obviously, the on-field success hasn't come as quickly as any of us would have hoped but I've found myself becoming more and more engrossed in Texans football as the years pass by and reached diehard status (or as diehard as you can be living so far away, I suppose) about four seasons ago.

I've met a lot of cool people from Calgary. You guys are everywhere down here. The oil and energy industry have the two cities connected.

Welcome. It's good to spread the Texans brand.
