Folks in Tennessee have been fuming about Lane Kiffin for months. After all, he took over the state's flagship college football program in 2009, stayed for a year, and then jumped to USC as soon as the job came open.

More recently, Kiffin and USC has angered the state's pro football team by hiring running backs coach Kennedy Pola (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/07/24/jeff-fisher-very-disappointed-in-lane-kiffin-after-rb-coach-leaves-for-usc/), who was under contract with the Titans.

The Titans, as it turns out, are heeding the sage advice of Doug Llewellyn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uVdjZHK6Uc).

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the Titans have sued Kiffin and the Trojans (http://www.tennessean.com/article/20100726/SPORTS01/100726032/Tennessee+Titans+sue+Lane+Kiffin++Southern+Cal) for "maliciously" interfering with Pola's contract with the Titans. Pola also has been sued for breaching his contract.

I have high hopes for us under Lane

We just need to ride out his douche phase like the Vols and Raiders had to.

Isn't it ironic that the guy who stole something from Houston is suing because someone stole something from him?

Poor, poor Bud Adams. The guy can't catch a break can he?

He should just drive to Kiffin's house and stand outside in his boxers and sock suspenders with black socks and shoot him the double-bird for stealing the ONE component that was going to bring him a title: A running backs coach.

Stay classy, Bud.

Problem is, that "phase" is what is more commonly know as his "personality".
