Denver linebacker Elvis Dumervil's decision to sign his restricted free-agent tender last month and work with his team this offseason has led to one of the richest contracts in Broncos history.
Dumervil and the Broncos agreed to a contract extension Thursday, the team announced. Terms weren't disclosed, but according to multiple sources, the six-year deal was worth $61.5 million and includes between $41 million and $43 million in guarantees.

Dumervil had a great year in 2009, but that still seems like a lot of coin ?
After QBs, who gets paid like these pass-rushers ?

I bet Brian Cushing is happy. 2 years from now that will be him.

Probably nothing like that kind of money because Cushings not a 3-4 edge-rushing OLB, he's a 4-3 OLB.
Not bad for a 4th round pick who's under 6 ', and only 'bout 250 lbs. It's amazing to me how many of these real steller playmakers the NFL scouts
still miss judge on Draft Day. Wasn't Jared Allen
also a 4th rounder ?
