We never fully appreciate our father's love or our love for our fathers.......until they are gone. And then, we have a long time to develop that appreciation.

Thoughts and prayers to Kubes and his family.

Dang, very sad news and sorry to hear it. Thoughts and prayers to the Kubiak family. RIP

I lost my Dad two years ago this September, the day before Ike destroyed my parent's home. My dad had battled cancer almost 10 years before and was battling cancer again and undergoing chemotherapy, I thought I was mentally prepared for the worst, it turns out there is no way you can be, it was extremely tough and I miss him dearly. On top of that, they made us wait a month to bury him. Chambers county was a disaster area and the county judge wouldn' let anyone conduct a funeral.

Very sorry to hear that HT! I'm lucky to still have my father, he is 74 and still very strong from working at his ranch everyday. My father and I are very close and I dont take that for granted at all, I can't imagine what you guy's have gone through.

My prayers and condolences go out to the Kubiak family!

I lost my pops 11 years ago, 2 weeks before my daughter was born. I can definately relate to what he's going through. The only bright thing to say is that time heals all wounds. RIP Mr. Kubiak and prayers sent to the family during this trying time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Kubes and his family. I can only echo what others who have lost a parent have said here. I lost my Dad 12 years ago and my Mom 4 years ago and it hurts for awhile. But life goes on, and we have to continue to live our life as our parents would expect us to do, until it is our turn, and we are called home by the Lord.

R.I.P. Mr. Kubiak
