Then the Texans are still in the market for a fourth OT. This appears to be the only position on the team that is short of the minimum number of players you would expect to see kept on the roster (or the practice squad) going into the regular season.

After they completed their minicamp Wednesday morning, the Texans made 12 personnel moves, including agreeing to terms on a four-year contract with rookie guard Shelley Smith.

Smith, a sixth-round pick from Colorado State, received a deal worth $1.894 million.

The Texans also signed three free agents who had been brought in for tryouts: tight end Derrick Fine, fullback Justin Griffith and receiver Bobby Williams.

The Texans waived veteran tight end Michael Gaines and six undrafted free agents — offensive tackle Adam Ulatoski, receiver London Crawford, quarterback Tyler Sheehan, guard Kristian Matte, linebacker Will Patterson and fullback Jack Corcoran.

Glad Maneri sticked. Matte shouldn't be too upset as he was drafted in the 1st round of the CFL draft. I kinda wished we would've kept Corcoran, I liked him.
