Rockabilly started the site www.keye42sucks.com in response to them removing the Texans from their Sunday broadcast schedule in 2007.

It caught some steam.

How did it go?

It went great! Everyone there is really nice. I was on to promote a show I put on this past weekend. I was hoping not to run into Gary Vinson haha...I guess he doesn't work there anymore.

Still does not make too much sense, can you elaborate a bit more?
What kind of show?
What was it about?
Did they reference our rogue movement?
Did you blow your cover?

Vinson does not work there anymore. He was actually a nice guy, and honest. It's just that the station usurped some of his power from him, and it made him look like a liar.

The guy who replaced him is an *******.

Pretty impressive. I just googled the Revival Festival... Really? I would've made the trip just to see "the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World"... Love the Supersuckers.

Well... you suck at promoting then. I would have gone if you had just told us in your first dang post!! I'm always game for supporting another Texans' fan. Especially out here in Austin. I hope it was a great success.

Yeah, sorry about that. It was the best time ever. Getting to meet my hero Jerry Lee Lewis and introduce him on stage was an emotional experience.

In his defense, if you're doing an appearance to promote event 'x' and go off on soapbox 'y' - there went ANY chance of being asked to promote event 'x' again :)
