....per Adam Schefter. He is waiting word on what the Rams are getting back.

Just another reason to stay away from drafting DT in the first. Boom to bust ratio is too big.

He is more suited as a 34 DE.

I think they should take Suh as well. Clearly the best player, and the Rams needs to fill some holes before they take a franchise QB anyway. And Colt McCoy will be there in the 2nd round, and they could begin grooming him.

Rumor: Simply swapped 5th round picks with eachother. Wow.

To acquire Adam Carricker, Washington swapped spots with St. Louis in the 5th round for the pick the Rams had from the Eagles.

They're only swapping 5th round picks. The Skins give up #135 and acquire #163. Travis Johnson thinks that's a pitiful haul for a former first round draft pick.

That's all ? Wow is right. Wasn't he a first-round pick just a couple years ago ? If this is all correct, then what a bust this guy was.

Good grief! Can anyone remember when the Rams last hit on a 1st round pick? Long isn't considered a bust yet, but still.

Wow. That's a cheap price to pay for a guy who could turn into a good 3-4 DE.

Got to give it to Dan this year. Finally made the move for a coach that is proven and won't be a yes man. Hired a legit GM. While he's made a few trademark splashes he hasn't overpaid for them.

Speaking of trading tackles, wonder what Okoye would bring if we tried to trade him ? Could we hope to get a 4th round pick for him ?

Well it's about time he succeeded. He's tried just about every other possible approach to this and failed. Law of averages says sooner or later something's going to work.

Maybe it's a good thing we are catching the Redskins early in their schedule before they gel as a team.

At least. He's only making about 750,000 this year and next. He's a cheap player to keep around for depth at the very least.

2004 Steven Jackson

Chris Long could still pan out.

What about Jason Smith OT Baylor from the 2009 draft? Didn't he do well last year?

I think he was injured most of the season. I would still give him a year or two before calling him a bust.
