It makes me wonder why we post in this. Is it to say that we didn't fall for the April fools joke or to say that we actually fell for it?

If it is any consolation, I fell for one on another board, which is what made me want to post this thread here on TexansTalk.

Now if you would have added that he was getting Kyle Shanahan's name tattooed on his ankle, and going to D.C. to be the 2nd Assistant QB coach for the Redskins, I might have found it more believable.

Something more believable would be...

In a stunning turn of events today, Gary Kubiak publicly spoke ill of one of his players: "When it comes to Amobi, he is no longer a good kid with lots of talent. He's soft as a newborn's skull and plays with no fire, but because of where he was drafted we're going to continue to get murdered on the defensive line. Hopefully in April we can draft a good kid with lots of talent who can play next to him and make him look good."

He then teed off on kicker Kris Brown:
"Kris is a good citizen, and he's made a lot of tough, clutch kicks over the years - but there were times last year when I wanted to drown him in a shallow puddle. I thought about signing Charles Spencer to come in and take over kicking duties. There's just no excuse for that little guy to go out and cost our team a game after our guys have been killing themselves for 59 and a half minutes."

...okay, you're right - better chance that Kubiak quit.
