The Raiders have released Warren. He's a 10 yr vet and a big body. Is anyone for bringing him in for a workout?

He's better than anything we've got at DT.

But no I wouldn't bring him in. He's not that much of a difference maker.

If you want to get better at DT it's going to have to be done through the draft. Unfortunately, Unless you want to pay Peppers an unreal amount of $.

he's a real horse's ass supposedly. not a high character guy by any stretch so there is almost no chance the Texans move for this guy.

he may be an upgrade skill-wise but he's been a loser wherever he has been and made no impact or difference. i would welcome him because you never know when you can catch lightning in a bottle but i just can't see the Texans taking a shot on this guy.

That's kind of where I am on him. I'm also getting desperate for a quality DL. I'm not sure I trust we'll see the same production we saw towards the end of last season. We really need a very good passrush since we're relying on young DB's to carry the load.

aint that the truth. Mario was pretty average last year and even though Smith picked up his play late in the season, he only had 4.5 sacks. Barwin is still a project that you hope makes some strides, but it would be nice to inject some talent on the DL. We need some depth and we offer a chance to get some serious playing time on an above average talented team.

Yeah, the Texans probably aren't gonna win many divisions till Peyton retires/declines, but the team does have the potential to get a Wild Card berth and even pull off an upset on the road. I would think Houston would be attractive. It just hasn't come together too often...at least not often enough for me.

Jamaal Williams from the Chargers was released. His isn't that long in the tooth and we have Zgonina so we really can't act like we can't bring in old guys. Z has been pretty damn productive and a great example in the locker room and the weight room. Too bad his worth ethic hasn't rubbed off on Slowkoye.
