Its official, Garrard just got named as Manings replacement.

It will be Schaub, Young, and Garrard. Weird

I just don't understand how Young and Gerrard make it over Flacco, Palmer, or even Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger was the 1st alternate and pulled out. But yes Flacco should have been next after Schaub.

Rather than relying on stats as in years past the BONEHEADed commissioner decided to let the fans vote. Me and Bill have as much place in the pro bowl as Vince F'ing Young. Just as the MORON decided to move the game to Florida and play it a week before the Superbowl. But given that this IMBECILE seems to have put stripes on NBA OFFICIATING CREWS for the past two seaons and let them call football games that they don't appear to be watching very little of his GENERAL JACKASS-ERYsurpises me anymore.
Can someone get Decon Jones, Mean Joe Green, Merlin Olsen, Dick Butkis, Bubba Smith and Randy White, Howie Long, Lawrence Taylor, and Jack Hamm to have a lenghty fist to face chat with this A-hole to remind him that he's NOT Pete Roselle and he's NOT going to revoloutionize the game of football? I say they fire this beat-off and offer the job to Condaleeza Rice. She seems to know a HELL of a lot more about football than this DOLT!

I saw Garrard play this season. He shouldn't be allowed in THE STANDS at this year's pro bowl much less on the feild.

The dumbest thing about the change in the Pro Bowl date is that one would expect a disproportionate number of "all stars" to come from conference championship teams... but this move guarantees those folks won't play.

Agreed that Flacco is more deserving than Garrard or Saint Vincent.

The thing is, the MLB All-Star Game used to be a big thing. These days, between making sure no pitcher throws more than about 14 pitches and making sure every player from every team gets to play (like Little League), it became a lot less interesting and, I think, a lot less intense.

The bottom line is that pro sports have evolved to the point where the stakes are too high to be willing to risk injury for an exhibition game and teams have too much invested in these players to really want to see them do it.

At least the MLB All-Stars show up to the game.

How sad is it that the AFC's 10th best QB is going to the Pro Bowl?

We could make the Pro Bowl results be used in lieu of the opening coin toss....
