Jets won't beat the colts.. no way

I feel the Chargers have a better chance, way better offense.. Jets just don't have the firepower

*edit* since I typed that.. Chargers will lose today

I really don't like Phillip Rivers. Obnoxious, arrogant QB.

I still want the Chargers to win this game though. I don't really like the Jets either

They need a blocking FB. LT had his best years when Lorenzo Neal was opening holes for him. SInce Neal has been gone, LT hasnt been the same.

The Jets shouldnt have played prevent. They were killing Rivers with pressure but once they shifted to prevent Rivers just sat back there and picked them apart.

Yea we were one more win away from being where they are now. Ugh

But i give a hell of alot of credit to the Jets. They are built for the playoffs and are punching teams in the mouth right now.

This team went to the playoffs under Mangini, then had a lull with no playoffs, and they go and get a rookie head coach and a rookie QB and they are in the AFC Championship game.

They got a ROOKIE head coach and a ROOKIE quarterback. All you Texans fans reading this: Let that sink in for a moment.

And meanwhile, back on Planet Kubiak...well, you know how the story goes.

I think the difference is the mentality of the coaches. Kubiaks doesnt take alot of chances while Ryan is a risk taker and goes all out to win.

I like Kubiak but i wish he had more of a Ryan mentality. If he did we'd about to be playing the Colts right now.

Not trying to oppose you just for the sake of being ugly to you....

But Kubiak actually DID go for it and take risks this season, which was a nice departure from the previous seasons where it seemed he was timid.

I actually think the difference is a lot more simple than what people realize. Rex Ryan is probably a great schemer and strategist who knows how to use his team to out-wit and out-coach the opponent. I think he's got a way of understanding what it takes to win.

Kubiak, on the other hand, is a finesse guy. He truly thinks he can get his offense fine-tuned and operating so smoothly that we could dial up ANY play we wanted....and as long as THE PLAYERS just execute the play, then we will do awesome. It's a "Mine is better than yours. I will line mine up and show you."

But the problem is that teams see what we are doing from a mile away, because Kubiak buries his face in his system and is too stubborn to veer from what he wants to do. It's fleshed out in roster decisions, as well. It's why he is unswerving toward the issue of using Chris Brown over and over and over and over until he can finally prove that he (Kubiak, himself) is right.

Rex Ryan knows he doesn't have a bunch of All-Pro players out there. But he has a way of using what he's got and finding a way to make it work. Kubiak is in year 5 of trying to find a way to get to where Rex Ryan is today, after watching Rex having only one season on the job.

I think most people here are so freaking glad to have a competent Texans offense, that they feel like it would be unfair to fire Kubiak and let someone else come in and reap the benefits of his labor. I just don't "get" that way of thinking. I really don't.

Life is unfair. And NFL life is even unfairer. Just win already.

Shonn Greene..i knew he was going to be a beast which is why i wanted the texans to pick him up when he came out last year...

manning's seen all ryan has to offer..he'll keep the jets off balance by going between no huddle & then letting the play clock wind all the way down to force the jets to show what they are going to do & then pick em' apart.

I don't like Phillip Rivers but I'm very surprised that the Jets won. Don't know why but I thought the Chargers would roll yesterday. Rabid home crowd..a QB that thrives on the big play...decent D.

Yes I do. The Jets are not building the right way. Else they would not be winning so soon.

Planet Kubiak's orbit seems to defy Kepler's 3rd law, forcing T = ∞.

Jets were already built.

Since the Texans inception, the Jets have been in the playoffs 4 times and have had 5 seasons with winning records. Ryan took over a 9-7 team that had already been playing a 3-4 defense for at least the past 3 years.
