Well, zone coverage certainly isn't helping it.

Look at Foster. Too bad we had dumb ass Chris Brown playing all season instead of him.

Yeah it kinda sucks Chris Brown was having such a Pro Bowl year that Foster couldn't get started sooner. Just imagine if Foster had been in there more all season. But then Chris Brown wouldn't be closing on 2000 yards for the season and......

Wait a minute.... that's Chris Johnson not Chris Brown...

cdollaz
01-03-2010, 02:05 PM
It was a shot to a falling receiver a split-second after the ball went past him. He likely couldn't have held up and avoided it.

I'll put it this way, if they play had been reversed with a Texan putting that hit on an opponent, no one here would be saying it was a cheap shot.

I don't see that.

I take that back. One was when Anderson went for the catch across the middle during the 1st quarter. Anderson couldn't get to the ball due to the ref. The other was on a short pass from the Pats that went for a long run. The ref tripped up our guy on coverage and that allowed their receiver to make a huge gain. Could be a coincidence, but I like having something to ***** about.

They should just tell Brown to go home. We'll just go for two the rest of the game.

Sounds good to me.

The sad thing about KB is that for so many years he was absolute money. All careers come to an end. Sure hope we don't need a kick to win the game.

Would YOU bet $50 that Brown will make a 56 yard fg?

If I was getting 7:1 maybe

HTown2ATX
01-03-2010, 02:30 PM
Yup. We could have used that 9 seconds at the half to at least get a little closer than 56 yards.

Looked like we could have actually had 10 seconds. Could have called time out at 1:00 left in the half. Waited till 50 left.....:kitten:

Loved the passes over the middle with what time we did have left.....:gun:

Thorn
01-03-2010, 02:31 PM
Was that a good miss?

LOL, but that's not what I meant. No miss is good, I'm just saying for a 56 yard FG attempt, he didn't miss it by far. Hell, he came closer on that than he did that stupd extra point he missed.

Not an inspiring effort by the Texans. For a team that has everything on the line, they don't seem to be playing with a lot of urgency.

DexmanC
01-03-2010, 02:32 PM
Schaub got hurt for nothin' Thanks, Kris. Good job, bro.

Our offense hasn't scored since
the first TD. Kris Brown can't even hit Xtra Points, and
Belichick's bench is DEEP. He has guys like Fred Taylor
and Junior Seau coming of the bench.
This is a game, that the Texans WILL lose, if they don't play
a FULL GAME.

It's nutcuttin' time boys! FINISH THE DAMN GAME!!

Kubiak ain't got the GUTS to say this to them boys. He needs to, though.

I'll take being even at the half, 30 minutes from destiny

Cjeremy635
01-03-2010, 02:35 PM
Kubiak better fire these boys up at half time. I hope they come out with some swagger and don't cave like they normally do. It's a 50-50 chance right now as to what team steps back out of that tunnel. It makes me nervous. Hopefully they've been saving their half time adjustments for today's game. Hey, a guy can wish.....

If they lose a game that can decide getting into the playoffs because of a kicker they should have cut then that is damming on the management. At least they should have had people compete. I mean besides 2 years of his career he isn't exactly a guy people think of as untouchable.

mariowillshine15

Maybe Kubes read the message boards or learned common sense.

Yea he probably read the message boards.

I like how KB is trying to get run out of Houston BEFORE the season is over...

I say lets get Turk in there to kick em, I'm sure he'll be horrible but as of right now KB's made 1 of 5 possible points...

Wondering, did anyone wonder why Pollard gets a flag for hitting the #8 backup while Schaub gets drilled on the next posession and no flags at all? Did I miss something or was that as bad as I though?
