Since they have outscored the AFC South 126 - 40 or so this may be a bit too low.

Yeah, but there was a 59-0 in there when the Tacks were at their worst. The Pats have only won one real road game which was against the Bills. The Bucs game was in England so I wouldn't even count that. But then again the Texans have only won three home games.

There may be some books putting out lines, but we will not see the flood of odds on week 17 until week 16 is in the books.

Sure, both of the early lines Iíve seen had the Texans as 7 point favorites.

There are early feeder lines out, but we will not see the flood until tomorrow as there are still many games off the board right now.

I would be very surprised if that line did not move to Texans -3 by game time.

Wow I would be all over the road dog on this one. The Texans have stunk at home, they usually have a let down in the biggest games, and well...it's the Texans. Granted, they may not play all of thier starters, but this has Texans patented FAIL on it bigtime. :polevault:

It all depends on two things:

1) If the Texans show up for BOTH halves.
2) If NE pulls a Colts and yanks all their starters in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah well, if "if" were a fifth, we'd all be drunk. :runaway:

At NY Jets -9.5
At Denver -13
Baltimore -10

$100 will get you $10k if Houston wins the Super Bowl. :D

Thanks, I will have to wager.

I put down $100 on the Packers winning it, 40-1, last month before they went on their run. :)

We should be favored by 20. The Pats suck. Everybody knows they got nothin' and we're gonna drill 'em! :stirpot:

We need to start a trash-talking thread for this game. Problem is I don't know crap about the Pats this year. I just know they're 10-6, have won their division, and next Sunday we're gonna kill Brady. :fans:

Regardless how much we are favored, we don't want to be. In the past the patter of us being favored even by 3 points we have always lost. In fact I cant remember when we won or covered. We need to play two halfs to really show any of the pundits anything. In our caes its always been in our best interest to be the underdog or play the spoiler role.

Covering a 7 point spread might be tough...I'd feel more comfortable if it was 6.5

I don't think Pats fans really care about this game. While perusing a Pats board I noticed they're only talking about whether to sit players and playoff scenerios.

Just went to Sportsbook.com, and the Texans are 8 point favorites. Which tells me that Vegas isn't buying what Belichick & Brady are selling. They expect the Pats JV on Sunday.

I wonder what the early "action" is...?
the NFLN talking heads seem to think we don't have a shot at beating the Pats.
