Fox is not the problem. Does an 8-8 finish save his job though? I hope so I have met all the Panthers and they are all very lovely folks.

Second that. The Cowher to Carolina talk has been media folklore all along I believe, the only evidence of any sort of connection between the two parties is the fact that Cowher lives there, dumb. Fox is an elite NFL head coach for sure and Carolina fans for the most part appreciate this. I don't think he'll be fired regardless of how the Panthers' season ends, both their starting tackles are on IR, they're QB-less and they've battled a top notch schedule. I bet they win 10+ games next year.

Both may be changed. QB because he should be and the coach as the public sacrifice.
