Left tackle Duane Brown went down with a knee injury, and Rashad Butler replaced him and played well in the second half. Rookie right guard Antoine Caldwell played well again. Overall, the pass protection was terrific and the run blocking terrible.

There was talk of Brown playing hurt last week ..... I didnt see where he was hurt in todays game. Lets hope it's not a big deal , this team cant stand another injury to an already shallow talent pool on the OL.

I hope he's ok but it was good to see Butler play well in relief.

Brown improves
Left tackle Duane Brown participated on a limited basis in practice Thursday, and it's possible he could start against Miami on Sunday.

“That was a step in the right direction,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “From what we've been through the last three weeks with him and what he was able to do today makes me think he's got a chance.”

Brown sprained his knee against Indianapolis on Nov. 29 and, although he played against Jacksonville and Seattle, he had to take himself out at St. Louis, where the artificial turf was a major issue. Dolphins Stadium has a grass field.

I still hope we can get a good look at Butler. It sure would be a nice bonus for us if he can get on the feild and show he warrants more playing time.
