Currently watching Cincinnati vs Pittsburgh. Cincy already boinked one off the upright on a 51 yard attempt. I didn't know only 2 50+ yarders have been made at Heinz. Should be a good game.
Austin's other game is New Orleans vs St. Louis. :gun: Oh well, potential major upset but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, I wish I had it today. Especially at three when the Cowboys are the only game in town.
nice TD run by peterson ..vikes up 10-0
(well it IS the lions)
looks like jags to 14-10 lead over jets

My FF team is in the pitts this weekend due to me forgetting there was a Thurs night game and not getting my lineup called in on time. I NEED Palmer and Ocho to step it up!! They're all I've got today.
I guess the Saints can go ahead and wake up after halftime
10-10 with Rams
Braylon Edwards even finds ways to drop the ball after he catches it.:roast:

Ronnie Brown hurt :(
Braylon Edwards does his thing again on the 2 pt.
22-21 Jets. I'm torn on who i want to win this game. I hate the jags, and we get another chance at them, but the Jets have the tiebreaker on us and they're the kind of team that can go on a tear.

Whoop, Grandfather Brett just got me some FF points.
The Broncos-Redskins game sounds interesting, and the Steelers-Cincy game is a close one as well.
Along with the B.C. Lions up by 10 in the first round of the CFL playoffs. And PSU and OSU still tied at 0-0 in the Big Ten Soccer Championship game.
Sports overload.

Atlanta is in deep sh--, so is Denver. Puts a big dent in my Pick 'em score.
Jags win. It eliminates the Jets practically, but this just puts more meaning on our matchup against them in Jacksonville in 3 weeks.

yes, but they played awful and got huge breaks from the Bucs and the refs. HUGE.
and Freeman made some great plays and if not for his receivers dropping at least three BIG plays, they win easily.
but they need to draft defense. they might have that first pick locked up, go after Suh
packers and Cowboys both have missed field goals
0-0 still

Quick question: Do officiating crews stay intact during the course of the season barring unforeseen circumstances?
Just wondering because the head ref from last week's Indy game is doing the Cowboy-Packer game and they have missed some pretty clear penalties and somehow Dallas has only 2 penalties to GB's 9. Not that the penalty count is enough for a conclusion of any kind, but the whole thing just made me wonder.

Wow, Dallas' "No. 1 receiver" Roy Williams just let one go through his hands and had it boink him of the front of his helmet...lol.

Whoa. Dallas has had it. I didn't see this result coming. Bye-Bye Wade.
Whitten has 1 catch for 3 yards (1st play of the game)
Austin has zero catches
Romo just fumbled after getting popped GB on Dallas 3 yard line and leading 10-0
romo sacked 5 times
I missed that .. why was that not reviewable?

I missed that .. why was that not reviewable?
Reason: Recovery of a loose ball is not reviewable. I'll bet the ref's called whatever because they thought a replay would straighen it out. :mcnugget:
I am confused now
a fumble recovery is not reviewable unless it involves points???
what is the difference between the Texans game and that fumble? because it was on the goal line when the Colts snagged it?

The NFL is the worst about their little rules. One set of rules apply to the endzone, another to the field of play. Coaches get penalized for being correct after further review.....etc.....etc. The NFL really needs to work on that. :foottap:
lol GB is challenging for the 3rd time in the half
worst comes to worst, it gives his defense a rest

Lol, I just found this blog from 2006.....
If you watch enough NFL you'll eventually come across the worst officiating crew in the league. Jeff Triplett and his band of merry flagsters.
You'd be hard pressed to find somebody worse at his or her job than Triplett is at his. Lets see here:
- he was the Official who threw the flag into Orlando Brown's eye.
- this was the crew who officiated the Patriots vs Broncos divisional game last year. (Read the notes section)
If Triplett is doing your NFL team's game on any particular Sunday, you can be virtually assured that it will go the longest. In the Patriots' game yesterday his crew allowed the Detroit Lions to call a timeout when they had none. He needed clarification (3 times he asked the umpire) on a false start penalty in the first quarter, and he incorrectly called the penalty on the wrong team numerous times.
If you see Jeff Triplett do one of your team's games, I implore you to pay attention to the officiating....trust me, it may be more enjoyable to watch than the game itself.
That's the whole blog, but for the sake of it...

Jason Garrett is a moron.
You have the biggest o line in the league. You have a top five RB tandem. You have a #1 WR who can't catch. You have a QB who is prone to forcing the ball.
What do you do in a close game?
You give it to your RBs 11 times and throw it 39 times. That's what you do. What a douche.

thank god Jones is keeping Garrett to himself so no one else hires him as their head coach
