Saw that he gave a "shout out" to say "Let's remember Pat Tillman. As a Marine vet, I want to say that I will never forget what my brother Pat did for our country."

Interesting. Didn't figure Schefter to be a Marine.

Props to Schefter. Dumbest thing that NFLN has done was letting him go to be replaced by seal-boy.

I'm generally in the NFLN's corner when compared to other networks, but yes, they definitely dropped the ball there.

Wow, I didn't even realize that they let him leave. Now that was just stupid. He was my favorite as far as the "story breaker" types go, like Mortensen and Clayton.

yep, me, too. I watch NFLN the overwhelming majority of the time to get my football news, simply because I don't want to have to wade/wait through a bunch of sports that I could care less about.

The only complaint I have is that I can't take Jason LaCanfora (aka seal-boy) seriously. Who is he, where did he come from, and why do I care what he says? I never hear anything worthy from him (especially compared to the info that Schefter alway had), and he can't wipe that goofy doofus smile off his face when someone else is talking.
[/rant] ...sorry!

He covered the Redskins for the Washington Post. WTF??? The NFLN couldn't replace Schefter with anyone else??

He seems like the kind of guy I'd hate to piss off.
