I still have that nasty taste in my mouth from the TB pre-season game when Hill coughed up a few balls.

Now I am a little worried....

Kubes goes out of his way to applaud Casey's toughness.

The injury is to the meniscus.

Well, this answers the question of who is going to replace Owen on my Fantasy roster....

I feel bad for Casey. This is a golden opportunity for him, and through no fault of his own he cannot capitalize.

Man, we should have held onto Bennie Joppru!

We could always trade Seattle a second? :)

If he's still there ofcourse!

Great news! He is out of the league. We could probably land him for a 3rd rounder if Casserely were here.

Really, we SHOULD give up picks for him, anything else would be disingenuous! :)

It'll be interesting to see who we bring in, having two TE's active is not enough imo.

wtf? What is going on with our TEs. How crappy was that field turf???

Our 2 TE sets are going to require Hill to be in the game? Theres got to be some irony in there somewhere

We really could've used him against Indy. ****! At least he'll be back after the bye.

Hill best be able to contribute!

It's good to know one of those weeks is the Texans bye week

Add to that DelJuan Robinson, Dominique Barber and I think Xavier Adibi are day to day as well...

The score says we won handily but the injury report says we paid a hefty price (OD, etc. al).

Its gonna be hard to pound the rock at Indy with only 2 TEs on the roster. Sure, Hill is a good blocker but its tough to ask of a rookie seeing his first NFL action to help the OL against the likes of Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis especially when the only other TE on the roster is Dreesen making his first start but also playing on every special teams unit most notably as a long snapper.

I think we're gonna have to outgun Peyton this week. 5 WR sets, maybe mix in a 2 RB offense with Slaton/Moats on the field at the same time but one of them in the slot.

Not to mention the adjustments we're gonna have to make on defense. I see Fred Bennett being activated this week...and that scares me.

Time for Connor Barwin to step in and play some TE. :)

Think about this, we need to slow the game down and run the ball with our new starter and Chris Brown. We need Mr. Hill to step up and be the man and help our running game keep Manning sitting on his helmut. I would like to see a quick six from return team and JJ and Walters to get some big plays as AJ will keep the DBs occupied.

There has been a lot of talk about their turf causing knee injuries over the last 2 years. The Bills have lost a few guys to it as well.

Let's just put 4 OTs on the field and run it at them.

Lose 2 TEs in one game! We really need Dressen to step up as well as Hill.

Go Texans!!!

Antwan Molden? Time to shine buddy boy!

At least Casey will be back to do some damage this year. Dude is going to be good.

Options for backup TEs now? Hill? aaaaaannnnnnnddd? Butler in as an eligible receiver? Resign Mark Bruener and don't activate him for the game? Someone mentioned Barwin? Time to get creative.

Vonta needs to have a healthy few weeks until Casey can be his backup again.

I can't believe OD is out and JC goes down.

From jamescasey86 : Surgery went really well and I will be back in no time ready to rock and roll

I twittered him back asking if that was from OD, he replied saying it was a scope on his right knee.

Looks like it all Dressen on Sunday!!

Although these are some very creative options I think Shanniak has proven that they can do so much with so many different personnel sets. If ever there was a team that relies this heavily on the TE position, the Texans are also probably the most adept at adjusting and being equally productive out of different sets.

Ain't this a ______.

Note to league: Suspend all games played at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

3 weeks isn't much time after a meniscus scope, 2 weeks if he practices before the Tacks game. I've had 4 operations for this and was an athelete for 2 of them. You're off your feet for 1 week, then start rehab. You're borrowing trouble by rushing it. I know this because I had to have 1 knee done 3 times.
This will completely screw up our 3 TE sets, which I was hoping to see a lot of against the Colts, but could open up our passing game with 4 WR sets and maybe we can give the Colts a dose of their own medicine. The biggest drawback to that is that the Colts O is built for scoring a lot of points in a hurry. Just ask Miami. Maybe our new and much improved D will be able to hold back the flood.

They need another Hback type player cause Casey was also the backup fullback .

Damn man! Another shot straight to the groin. Now we all know why Casey was falling forward almost immediately after catching to football. He was running on a torn meniscus. Major cajones.
