What's up Texans fans? Thought our second half football was bad againist the 49ers? Just wait for Bills backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who touched us in a come from behind as backup for the Rams some years ago. How could anyone forget about that game?

I prefer to remember him as a Bengal.

35-6 sounds good to me.

Don't remind me.

He's better than Edwards. But the Bills still suck regardless of who's back there so you guys should beat them without too much difficulty. But the Texans like to be unpredictable sometimes, so you can't say for sure.

This is nowhere near the same team that played that game, so don't worry.

Fitzpatrick as a Bengal rather than a Ram is what I remember. Thank Jesus our secondary is decent compared to 2005. Y'all are screwed.

He torched us his rookie season with the Rams, and we touched up the Bengals last year with him at the helm.

It doesn't matter if we've seen him before. Apparently the Texans only prepare for the offense the team uses the majority of the time. Any changes to scheme are total surprises

I guess it's a good thing he has played the last two weeks. We probably need to practice as if Edwards is going to be back too though.

Edwards isn't playing (concussion, IIRC). Fitzpatrick will be their man.

Its an improvement over the first 3 weeks of the season where the original scheme was a total surprise!!! We're making strides as a defense, we're still extremely young and the lack of veteran leadership is the biggest issue on this team. It makes backup QBs turn into Joe Montana on us which we've become accustomed to as a franchise.

Baby steps... i'm fine with them as long as we win the game. But if we dont win...

The plan is to score so many points in first half that the second half is only for people with low blood pressure to watch. You know, raise it up a bit.

This doesn't seem too difficult.

Stack 8 in the box and make Fitzpatrick beat you with his arm.

Having said that, the Bills game is always an ambush.

That's right: The Fitz is back! (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/10254674/Bills'-QB-Edwards-still-out;-Fitzpatrick-to-start-again)

Let's hope we can get more pressure on him than we did on Alex Smith.

Lets just hope this isn't a bait and switch hoping to throw off the Texans gameplanning!

Good thing Petey "Big Play" Faggins is not on the team. Both Fitzy and Lee evans killed him.

Is this the same Ryan Fitzpatrick who started at quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals last year? The same Ryan Fitzpatrick who was 20/32 for 155 yds, 0 TDs, 2 INT, and a 48.3 passer rating against the Texans in week 8?

I ain't scurred.

I think its the same guy that beat us when he was with the Rams, its on the road, against a ball hawking defense as of late, I'm a little scurred.

I remember that game (the Buffalo game with Lee Evans 2 x 83 yarders from Losman): We were down 14-0 before I could even get the beer guy's attention:

8 of their 13 picks came against 2 guys who have a combined 23 INTs on the season.

Don't be scurred.

Yeah, Ryan Fitxpatrick was probably THE reason that the Rams team beat us the year that we went 2-14.
I'm sure Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt, Kevin Curtis and Steven Jackson had nothing to do with it...
Or the fact that the Texans sucked royal ass that year.

/sarcasm.

NOT SCARED. Not of Fitz, anyway.

Nope. And I don't think he's worthy of 2 threads, either.

Wait, is the Texan Killing Fitzpatrick the same guy that is QB'ing the Bills this weekend?

I would love to see Orlovsky kick Fitzpatrick's arse. Just saying. :piano:

Must concentrate on Fitzpatrick. I definitely think we need to go back to dropping our DL back for good coverage......:mcnugget:

Has Marshawn Lynch not worked out well for them? I'm a little behind on league-wide news. Especially with the Bills.

Enough with the 'they should be beatable' talk. Any Given Sunday, folks.

Me too. The guy's accuracy is pitiful at best, his stats are horrible, and his helmet is too big!!! Last week we scored a few points, sure, but the average scoring drive was only 26 yards... That's not Fitz, that's Byrd being a ball hawk!!! Our Big pass D has given him opportunities that Trent didn't have, and going back to a huddle offense reduced our procedure penalties from an average of 8 per game to 1.

So keep it in perspective fellas, the guy is awful.

Don't worry about him, our pass D will be the issue.

Marshawn Lynch is one of the top 5 RB's in the league IMO. He's back in the groove again after coming off his suspension. Fred Jackson is no slouch either.

We need to stack the tackle box if we want to win this game.
