Was eating there after the game and visiting my girlfriend as she worked, and saw him walk in with his wife and sit down. Told her who he was (She was his waiter), got a handshake and talked for a few minutes. Told him the people at TexansTalk all say Congratz on the baby (His wife blushed and asked if all of houston knew). Casey just laughed, said thanks, and left :thisbig:

"The Best Blocking Tight End in the Draft" Hill

The only successful block that guy has thrown so far has been keeping Cushing out of practice by giving him th eflu!

It was nice to see the OC acting like he knew James Casey was on the team. "Oh the guy is skilled but is learning" **** that. **** THAT!!! He's skilled so PLAY HIM.

One kick off went right over his head and he acted like he wanted to catch it. With Andre Davis averaging about 16 feet per return I'd almost say let him, at least he'll break ONE tackle.

I HATE watching Dre Davis return kicks. He runs fast, right into a tackler. Horrible.

Ah... I'm still holding onto that whole Jacksonville memory. Wasn't Jacoby Jones near the top of the league in KO returns? I was wondering why they brought Davis back in when Jones was doing so well in his absence.

Yup. Fastest 15 yard KO return ever.

Yesterday it looked like he had about a 5 yard hole to blaze through and juked himself right into a tackler. I mean hole like he would've ended up somewhere in SF territory, maybe even a TD.

Maybe AD is crosseyed so the defenders are not where he sees them. :thisbig:

Because we out think ourselves. Wouldn't be the first time.

There were so many times he ran to the right of the field right into a tackler, when he could have at least tried to bounce it outside to the left. the whole left side was completely empty.

And that last kickoff return he had. Wow. He started at the one yard line, and proceeded to get a whopping 14 yards. The guy has to be injured or something. He just has to be. :mcnugget:

Tell me again why we felt the need to reward Davis with a large contract extension after that 1 monster year returning kicks?

Yet we cant seem to lock down every down playmakers like Ryans and Daniels...

We paid him 16 million to be one of the top gunners in the league. He is not running much at WR, and his KR is below average at this point so the 16 million has to be for his gunning skills.

at that time he was expected to be the #2. no one else (Walter) was proven at that point..

He was never expected to be the number 2. He got extended after KW had his first good season. Andre got paid like a number two because we were desperate to keep him as a return man and there were reportedly some other teams offering similar cash. I won't be surprised when he gets cut next season.

Casey actually played several snaps in this game. We used the three TE formation quite a bit against the 49ers. Most notably on the TD catch by Daniels.
