They have us ranked at #18 to start the '05 season...

Here is what the article had to say about the Texans...
"It's time for this team to take the next step and compete for a playoff spot. It's year four of the five-year plan."

i can accept that. atleast they talk about us making a playoff push. if we would have finished 8-8 i would think we need to be higher, but can live with 18 to start.

I can live with the 18th ranking. What bothers me is having Jacksonville number 10, why does the media love them. How many times a year do we to beat them (I guess beating them twice last year wasn't enough). :hairpull:

Jacksonville was 9-7, despite getting spanked by us twice. If they can fill glaring holes at DE (both) and CB, they could take it to the next level.

I know they had a decent team and have some outstanding DT's, I just don't think they are the number 10 team and 8 spots better than us.

18th is ok if they didn't have the cheifs and jags ranked better
