As the subdued Bengals took the field for practice Friday morning in Paul Brown Stadium, they grappled with the news that Vikki Zimmer, the wife of defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, suddenly passed away Thursday.

Really sad. She seemed like a wonderful woman. I loved him with the Cowboys and think he will make a great head coach someday. Incredibly sad she can't be there for him and the ride. Prayers to them.
