Blah blah blah (http://www.titanstailgate.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1606)

" holy crap I'm tired of hearing this same crap every week. I'd rather have a coach that goes off and chews the players out than a coach that does what fish does. He needs to light a fire under their @$$es"

Couldn't resist.

kubiak:

-ran the ball well in the first half. running into a brick wall in the second half. lots of reasons why they failed to run efficiently. vague answer

-alot of repeat Q&A's. good offensively in the first half, not good in the second

-going to have to score alot of pts v the cards. complimenting warner etc

-GQ played well, brice did some things & dunta's becoming his old self

-barber was ready to play, did a nice job

-impressed with defensive effort. 'we all can see what we have with 56 right now'. mario & antonio were a force

-justice is such a twat. this actually happened after ^ answer
justice: so thats what you liked about yesterdays defence & the other stuff is filed away somewhere else
kubiak: *awkward silence*......... i dont understand the question richard
justice:.........umm i dont either gary

-campbell & ferguson have major knee injuries. mario has a shoulder bang, moats turf toe, one other injury i missed

-very happy with special teams

-'matt wasnt himself yesterday' (made it sound like he may have been one of the sick guys)

-hopeful eugene would be fine

-GQ is fine. himself & pollard will def keep starting

I came back in to the presser (online) and he said something about "Caldwell's injury". What injury was that?

Justice actually tried to slam Kubiak with a snitty little comment like that, then tried to play it off? OMG, I wish I had been a fly on the wall at that conference.

WOW.

"I don't understand the question, Richard..." (which was SMART by Kubiak, because he essentially said "You didn't ask a question, did you Richard? You're just trying to be a mean, small person right now.")

"Ummm....errrr, well....yeah, I guess you got me on that one."

He got mixed up on the names he was talking about Kerry Campbell (sp?).

I wouldn't have been surprised if that was Richard Justice's followup question. God, what a dick.

I always wonder why Justice is still in Houston, because I have yet to meet one H-town sports fan that likes the guy. I have ignored him for years now, simply because his writing and perspective is horse crap. I know that I'm not the only one in that regard.

Sure, but if 20 Texan players get it, we are going to have a problem. For one, guys that test positive are going to be forced to be quarantine. Since it's a new strain, the chances of it spreading from person to person is very high. Therefore, there is a real risk that much of the team acquires it. This could cost us a game or two.

ESPN is reporting that Antoine Caldwell is out with flu-like symptoms. Kubiak let "Caldwell" slip today as well, when talking about injuries. Most of us assumed he meant to say "Campbell" but perhaps Caldwell's illness was on his mind.
